Larry McIntosh

Black and White Photography

Larry McIntosh has gathered images from behind the lens for most of his life. Drawn to the light, and to the people of the Northwest Florida coast, Larry captures a diversity of subjects in dramatically contrasted black and white photographs -- the setting sun, the open cloudless sky, the performance of a bluesman, paint peeling off an entryway to a historic building.

Most recently, Larry's photographs were included in the 34th Art in Gadsden juried exhibition of work by North Florida regional artists at the Gadsden Arts Center in Quincy, Florida; and the nationally recognized SlowExposures exhibition of photographs that capture the rural South's distinct history and character through fine art photography.

Prints are made on Matte Pura Smooth 300GSM OBA-Free paper using Epson Ultra Chrome HDX Pigment Archival Inks.
